AI
Isn't it contradictory to have Generative AI so present in our lives that we are starting to think of ways to use GenAI to generate the only things that we need to use in order to effectively extract value from these tools: the prompt?
We see romanticized how AI is going to be a tool that enhances productivity but there's an outgoing mindset that is preaching that AI (specially GenAI) is the solution to all problems.
So even though we have been able to simplify many activities by leveraging Generative AI, the part that really needs human input (which is the prompt creation) is also been seen as a potential area of also using AI to create them.
As a result, the demanding skills for employees in this technological era, like critical thinking and problem solving, are fading away as we try to fill in the blanks of our minds with AI input. Not exercising our minds to think actively is actually going to make us less smart over time.
